As you probably know the Oakland Museum Of California’s 54th annual White Elephant Sale is coming up on the weekend of March 7th and 8th 2015. Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm both days and the admission is free.

The sale takes place in a massive 96,000 square foot warehouse off of Fruitvale Ave near the Oakland Alameda Estuary. The huge warehouse has room for 17 departments containing unique items.
Location: 333 Lancaster St.
The year 2011 was the biggest and best sale yet for the organization as it raised an $1.6 million.
The Sale is put on by the Oakland Museum Women’s Board and all proceeds from the White Elephant Sale benefit the Oakland Museum of California. Over the years the Women’s Board has raised more than $18 million to support Oakland Museums acquisitions, exhibitions, educational programs, capital improvements and more.
