San Francisco Is Frisco

As someone who grew up in Oakland(The Town) and is actually from the area it really makes me wonder how all of these new transplants and grentrifiers can tell me, an indigenous resident that San Francisco is not referred to as Frisco.

Or maybe I’m wrong? Maybe it’s just what us in the ghetto have always called it? Even if that were the case you adapted our word hella. We were saying hecksa in the 80’s when we were too young to curse. So why say San Francisco is not Frisco when you’re hecksa about hella.

Either way, I assure you we have always called it Frisco and we’re not going to stop because you moved to San Fran(no one calls it that) from Ohio to work for Google and are now the pretend authority on the matter. You’re wrong.
