If you’re looking for a firework show in Oakland for 2016 there will not be one this year. Jack London Square stopped a while back. Berkeley Marina still does the yearly firework show, info below.
You can also catch the Oakland A’s game firework show on Friday July 3rd. Buy tickets here.

Nearby at the Berkeley Marina they will still host a firework show for the 4th of July. It’s about as close as we can get for Oakland fireworks. Pretty much the best in the East Bay.
However near by at the Berkeley Marina there will be a show at 9:30pm.

4th of July Oakland 2015
Here are a few of my videos from 4th of July from my house. My neighbors do it big every year so I tend to just stay home for 4th of July. No need to go out when you have a full on industrial strength ghettowork show in front of you.
Someone across the street decided to bust some caps.
This is just how it goes down on my block.
I really like the giant wall of crackles these ones produced.
So I guess this Helicopter that was flying around my hood all night must have been ABC 7 because they have all this footage.
Renegade ghettoworks show.
I took this one a week before the 4th from my kitchen window. They were doing this like every night. It was pretty epic.
And again the week before while just drinking out front.
4th of July Oakland Hills Views
4th of July we went up in the Oakland Hills and watch Oakland blow up.
It was an amazing view with ghettoworks going off all over the hood.
We also had a semi cool view of the San Francisco Pier 39 dual firework show, Marin County Sausalito firework show and the San Mateo county or Foster City firework show.
This is the spot the video was taken from.
Anyways, enjoy the video!
And now for some Bootleg fireworks!!!
This is going to crack you up.
These are a few photos I took from what may have been the last Jack London Square fireworks display in Oakland.

I was from out of town staying near Cost Guard Island I was astounded at the fantastic display of private fireworks going off over Oakland. Way to go Oakland. I just couldn’t help wondering what you would have if you pulled your resources. You would have rivaled New York or Chicago…

Dude, right behind my house they had non-stop fireworks for 5 hours straight. They must have set off 3000 fireworks, maybe more. You couldn't roll down the street because it was completely covered by firework debris. It was awesome. The fire truck came by a couple of times then just parked at the end of the street. I couldn't believe they had that many. Literally thousands. GREAT!!!
