Travis Air Force Base Air Expo 2008 Air Show!!!

I know this isn’t very Oakland related but this was something I would always look forward to and my dad would always take me. Well I had no idea it was this weekend and figured I would share with you guys incase some of you are as excited about this as me!!!!
This coming weekend, August 30th and 31st, 2008.
I think it’s been many years since they did an Air Show at Travis AFB. Since like 9/11 maybe? Anyways they are hosting one this year under the name “Travis Air Force Base Air Expo” and they will have The Thunderbirds which you do not want to miss! How amazing is F-16A Falcons screaming over your head?

Hey, thanks for letting everyone know… I work at Travis and this is a REALLY big thing this weekend…. They were saying at work yesterday how hard it’s going to be to even get off base…. I’m not from Cali. so this is going to be nice for my children to see..
